History
R. Folkes Ent. Ltd was incorporated in 1958 by Robert (Bob) Folkes who along with his brother Jack served the Dundas area for many years. They provided Electrical, plumbing and heating services.
In 1961 they opened a retail store R. Folkes House of Lights and Shades on Hatt Street in Dundas, which specialized in lighting fixtures, shades, plumbing supplies and electrical parts.
Paul Folkes, Bob’s son joined the business training in both electrical and plumbing service work.
In 2004, after 43 years the family closed the retail store to concentrate on the service side of the business.
Paul Folkes, a Master Electrician and Licensed Plumber with 40 years experience still provides that personal touch to the areas electrical and plumbing needs.
Working from his home, Paul serves the Dundas, Ancaster and Waterdown areas.
So whether it’s replacing light fixtures or installing a new service or breaker panel, Paul personally does the work.
